Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers has called on Teachers to remain at home as third term resumes.
Kenya National Union of Primary Teachers Tertiary institutions Sammy Chelang'a asks Teachers Service Commission to honour 2021 to 2025 Collllective Bargaining Agreament.
"We call on teachers across the country not to attend any lessons I if the agreement is not honoured" said chelang'a.
He urged teachers not to report to schools without our consent" noted Chelang'a adding that teachers will not resume third term as schools reopen for September intake.

"Teacher's Service Commission has played mouse and cat game on the signed teachers pay. It's an option to implement it to the later or we continue agitating for it," said Chelang'a.
Speaking to rural times on Exclusive interview on phone, Chelang'a said that students will remain at home untill demands are made to the letter.
We called on the government to hear the Teachers plight in actualization of the signed collective bargaining agrement.
"We called on parents and guardians not to send their sons and daughters to school as third term reopen," agitated Chelang'a.
