Kisii Governor Simba Arati and South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro Thursday stroke a unity and peace deal signalling an end to the frosty relationship between the pair.
The leaders had not been seeing each other eye to eye for months, with each accusing the other of fomenting violence in the County.
A photo dispatch to the Rural Times late Thursday showed the pair exchanging hands in a rare handshake before President William Ruto in State House minutes to the swearing in of the new Cabinet Secretaries.
