Observe Zero-corruption and Work for Kenyans, Ruto tells New Cabinet
He told his cabinet secretaries to put extra effort into programs that will move Kenya forward.

The new cabinet secretaries are urged to discourage corruption and put forward the interests of Kenyans.
Speaking at the state House after swearing in of the new cabinet secretaries President William Ruto said, Kenyans have unanimously spoken against corruption.
"I therefore appointed you to work in accordance with the rule of law by putting forward the interest of our nation" Ruto said.
He told his cabinet secretaries to put extra effort into programs that will move Kenya forward.

The head of state said his administration shall not tolerate corruption, laziness, or any form of incompetency.
Moreover, President Ruto urges Gen Z to cease their protests and give time to his new cabinet to work.
He said the cabinet secretaries will work closely with the national assembly to develop legislative policies that will stear forward economy and help create job opportunities.
As a government, he says, "we shall restrict importation of those products that can be competitively produced by our domestic industries."
