Chief Conservator Leads Tree Planting Baringo
So far over 800million trees have been planted countrywide in support of President William Ruto’s directive to achieve the national target of 15 billion trees.
Chief Conservator Alex Lemarkoko today led a tree planting exercise at Narasha Forest in Eldama Ravine Sub-County, Baringo County.
More than 800million trees were planted in support of President William Ruto’s directive to achieve the national target of 15 billion trees.
Lemarkoko noted that so far, over 800 million trees have already been planted across the country in line with the presidential directive.
He urged members of the public to embrace the tree-planting initiative, particularly through the cultivation of fruit trees, to ensure that the ambitious national target is met.
