Mulembe Nation Keen on Presidential Takeover 2032
Could President William Ruto be grooming Musalia Mudavadi?

As Kenyans continues to squabble over President William Ruto's reelection bid in 2027, Mulembe nation is keen on who will take over the country's top seat in 2032.
The raging debate about the presidency in the country has been deeply rooted in the minds of many politicians and certain tribes that feel they deserve an upper hand to lead this nation.
But what is not known is that the Mulembe nation is now eyeing the top seat considering that they have one of their own at the helm of top leadership ladder who is proving beyond reasonable doubt that he is ripe to take the presidency mantle after exiting of Dr. William Ruto as the 5th President in 2032.
With both President Ruto and his former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua embroiled in fierce political hullabaloo against each other following the latter’s impeachment, and former Prime Minister and (ODM) fire brand Raila Odinga’s political fire automatically dimming, the much sober, vibrant and available choice acceptable across the country is yours truly Musalia Mudavadi.
The late Joe Nyaga,Najib Balala,Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi and now (President) William Ruto in a file picture.
Musalia who is still the Luhya political kingpin, has very little competition from other fellow leaders hailing from the Mulembe land whom despite trying to wrestle the mantle from him they have failed to stand out as nationalists like him and have always ended up being branded as just mere clan cheer leaders.
It is not news that President William Ruto is grooming and preparing Musalia and the entire Luhya nation for the 2032 country’s top office and Musalia is at the epitome of things.
Why Musalia? He has packaged himself as a nationalist, an all-round the country acceptable politician who has not shown any tribal links, bias and regionally acceptable across the political divide.
In one of the then country’s bold and hard hitting publication The Weekly Review founded by Hilary Ng’weno dated July 21 1995, under the banner “A tall order for Mudavadi” it explains why the then youthful and vibrant Musalia having been elected following the demise of his father the then Sabatia Mp Moses Mudavadi failed to adopt his father’s style of leadership that saw him become so powerful at the height of his political career that leaders made delegation to his Mululu home a move that saw him being branded as ‘The King of Mululu’.

The late who was the local government minister back then commandeered a lot of power from his office in the city to his home turf and was a force to reckon with in the election of the country’s Mayors and county council chairmen and influential was he that in Western province political arena, no one ever dared differ against his wishes lest you found yourself on the losing end.
And it is what many Kenyans are comparing between the son and his father of which Musalia has decided to play the ‘Lukewarm’ style of politics portraying him as ‘unpredictable’ especially for those who are fond of hard hitting style of politics and who expects him to be the (2025 Rigathi Gachagua) if he has to contest the 2032 Presidential seat.
Contrary to their expectation Musalia seems to exactly know what he wants and his choice of ‘Package’ non political verbal diarrhoea and style of operating as a political enigma seems to favour him most as he seemingly has no political rivalry across the country lest from his own Mulembe backyard where his young upcoming political brothers are trampling upon themselves to topple him as the Luhya Kingpin.
Why does he stand out? Two and half years after assuming office as Minister for finance (1995), he was rated as a star performer where he steered the country’s economy through its toughest economic turbulence bringing down inflation from its highs of 100% in July 1993 to 3.3% in October 1995 and an average of 6.2% for the same year.
During his tenure as the finance minister, Musalia he made1995 be remembered as a year of modest economic recovery for the country, improving its inflation and ensuring growth in agriculture which was and still is a key area in the country’s economic growth.
He is also on recording for restoring donor confidence in the country.
And as to many of the current generation, he might not come out as a gun trotting and blazing kind of politician, but he sure has his political cards well, the style that is yet to be accepted by many Third World countries who believes that it is through violence, political witch-hunt,blackmail and mudslinging that certifies one to ascend to power.
Musalia portrays the modern day technocrats who will express less and use fair political strategies to win the seat and get down to fixing the mess as a professional without causing so much political havoc.
He remains Kenya’s modern day Kibaki as President who talked less but implemented a lot in terms of transforming the country economy. As history has it: the nation’s president starting from Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, Daniel Moi, Mwai Kibaki and later Uhuru Kenyatta have been groomed to become Presidents who have led this country.
There is nowhere they were directly on the front line fighting for the country’s liberation to become presidents: let it be remembered that while the Mau Mau war was raging in Kenya, Mzee Kenyatta at one point was abroad studying and even married a white lady, but was later made President as Daniel Moi deputized him until his death in1978 and the latter took office for 24 years, he passed the sword to Mwai Kibaki who was proposed by Raila Odinga and even was sworn in while on a wheelchair doing his two terms then threw Raila under the bus in favour of Uhuru Kenyatta.
Unlike Ruto who has fought his way into the Presidency after falling out with Uhuru, our earlier Presidents have been groomed against all odds to become leaders.
His vast experience in the political arena and his choice of forging a different approach in his political journey,he has not only earned his tag as the patriarch of the Luhya political pack and he has secured his space for the position that will see him remain the most popular sought after leader from Luhya land and the entire nation to take the leadership baton from William Ruto come 2032.
Word of advise to the young upcoming Mulembe politicians is that learn to be tolerant, remember that you cannot ascend to power through greed which has directed you to dressing down your political big brother and instead you should stand by him and support your own for tomorrow you will need the same support from him too.
With the Luhya nation recording approximately 5Million and the numbers expected to hit 8Million by 2032, it stands a big chance of producing the next president if it supports Musalia to complete the political matrix.
