The ruling united democratic alliance (UDA) party brigades continue their vigorous Malava campaigns in favour of David Ndakwa.

Speaking at Malava Friends church when they met the UDA grass root delegates, party leaders led by UDA Kakamega county chairman Dennis Muhanda asked both the ANC, Ford Kenya ODM and UDA supporters to work together as it was a joint project to drum support for the Malava UDA candidate David Ndakwa.

The founder of DAP Kenya who has since decamped over in-house wrangles Caleb Burudi stated that he was supporting President William Ruto’s second term as well as David Ndakwa election bid as the Malava Mp.

He said DAP Kenya was de-popularizing its members including Naomi Shiyonga, Kenneth Marende, Caleb Sunguti and others whom he claimed.

He cautioned Eugene Wamalwa from deceiving the Malava people as the party was for no good to the Malava people.

On his part the decamped roots party aspirant Caleb Sunguti assured his support for Ndakwa as well as William Ruto’s two term saying there was no opposition strong enough to compete with President William Ruto.

He said it was time for the Malava residents to stamp their authority by voting Ndakwa in as their Mp.

Minority leader in the county assembly of Kakamega who is also the Chekalini ward Mca Titus Kwoma asked the Malava electorates to stop those propagandists who were traversing the constituency selling lies and luring them to join the opposition.

He said government has many good programmes for the Malava people unlike the opposition which was only selling hot air to the Malava residents.

He reminded the vote to keep time on 27th November by waking up early and voting for David Ndakwa.

“Kakamega leaders have united and will make a strong statement on 27th November 2025 by unanimously electing Ndakwa in preparation for the 2027 to re-elect President William Ruto.

Another aspirant who has been appointed as the new director of the Kenya revenue authority (KRA) Leonard Shimaka said he was happy to be appointed by the president and assured him of his full support in campaigning for him and David Ndakwa respectively.

He promised to award the leading delegates team to bring more supporters to David Ndakwa Ksh. 100,000, Ksh. 80,000 and Ksh. 50,000 respectively.

Shinyalu Mp Fred Ikana said as the UDA leader he will marshal support towards Ndakwa’s candidature.

He said a voted for David Ndakwa meant good roads, rural electrification, good leadership, job opportunities for the people of Malava.

He asked the delegates to recruit more supporters to vote for the UDA candidate.

The chairman of the Western Mp caucus and Ikolomani Mp Benard Shinali who is the current Malava constituency patron highlighted the importance of voting for the government candidate stating that it will place the constituency on the development roadmap.

He asked the officials of ANC and UDA work on delivering the UDA votes as a team. He said it was the Malava people who made the DAP Kenya candidate Seth Panyako and they should not allow him to take them to opposition.

“We have sat at Kivaywa as ODM to support the government candidate through the multi-agency working relationship with other parties as UDA is the bigger plan” he revealed.

He said the President has openly shown his love to the people of Malava and it is time the returned the favour by voting for Ndakwa.

He called on the Malava voters to cast their votes carefully to the right person who is in government. He stressed that they will reward those delegates who deliver the bigger percentage.

“Malava has been in government for long and now we have the key to the next leadership and that is why the Malava constituency by election is so vibrant and an eye opener to the 2027 and 2032 general elections where the Mulembe nation will assume office.” he said.

He warned the opposition that the Malava people were not fools to be swayed to join their side and stated that they were working with all the Kakamega leaders to deliver the UDA Malava seat.

“In 2022 Western region had two presidential votes for William Ruto and the Late Raila Odinga but now we have harnessed them into one basket in support of David Ndakwa and William Ruto”.
