President Ruto will Win 2027 Polls- Musalia

Prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi has predicted an early win for President William Ruto’s second term in office in the coming 2027 general election. With only 8Months to election, Musalia has dismissed the opposition as delusional and fragmented to put up a fight.

Speaking in Vihiga County when he met the church leaders, Musalia said he was optimistic that President William Ruto will secure his re-election after the purported opposition was engulfed in internal wrangles ahead of the said polls.

The PCS announced that Ruto stood a high chance of garnering 50+1and over 25% in 24 counties to be declared winner as his party united democratic alliance (UDA) and the orange democratic movement (ODM) through the broad based formation had a massive representation across the country.

“I ’am here to assure you today that President William Ruto will win the 2027 elections in a free and fair manner as he already has structures across the country unlike the opposition which is struggling to set their up within a very limited period”, he said.

Musalia who was accompanied by various leaders from Western Kenya drummed support towards the re-election of William Ruto hitting out at the opposition for misleading the locals with empty promises.

Already we are seeing what the government is dong to our region in terms of development and the opposition is coming here empty handed trying to sell their propaganda to you that you should support them win the election why would we leave the working government to support a disunited opposition that has no clue how government is run”, he wondered.

He said Western Kenya should fully support government of the day and have more representation in both county and national assembly parliament to enable more nomination and appointment to head various parliamentary committees.

The region only has two Mps in parliamentary committees Dan Wanyama sports committee chairman and Tindi Mwale (PAC).

Musalia criticized the manner in which the opposition led by impeached deputy President Rigathi Gachagua have been feeding Kenyans with pure lies about the operations of government noting that Gachagua had a personal vendetta against his boss William Ruto over his sacking.

He cautioned Kenyans and especially Western voters against being lured to support Gachagua as he was not sincere.

“Let Kenyans be aware that this man was impeached hence he cannot hold public office until after ten years or the courts decides otherwise, and that is why he is very angry, bitter, seeking revenge and lying through the teeth and he should not be given a chance to decide for Kenyans who should be President.” Said Mudavadi.

“He is a serial liar and even if he went for a competition, you will not defeat him, this is not the person Kenyans should entertain at all” The leader urged Kenyans to embrace and elect politicians who can foster for peace and unity within the country.

Democracy, he added was the foundation of peace and unity within a country and cited that the coming polls should reflect the same.

“We are housing over 40,000 refugees from Ethiopia her in Kenya with some holed up in Moyale refugee camps, schools and churches and as a country we have to be very careful with our utterances lest we sink the country into chaos”

He also questioned retired President Uhuru Kenyatta intentions of purporting to be funding Linda Mwananchi team led by Edwin Sifuna to unseat President William Ruto noting that if he was sincere he could have allowed Sifuna to vie through his Jubilee party.

Both Gachagua and Uhuru are duping Edwin Sifuna, and the earlier he realizes it the better for him as already he has been zoned to only campaign in Western region.

He dismissed the opposition being fronted through Linda Mwananchi for not having enough cash to run and manage the party as it was not eligible to be given political parties funds.

I have had a party (ANC) and I have managed it before I folded it and I must tell you it is not easy to run a political party and the opposition is in no position to manage Linda Mwananchi from their pockets and soon they will face the harsh reality.

Musalia maintained that he will still support William Ruto due to his impressive developments being witnessed in Western for the first time ever in history.

“We are seeing massive transformation on infrastructure ranging from the Rironi Mau Summit to Malaba Dual carriage road, Naivasha to Malaba standard gauge railway, Eldoret –Kapsabet dual carriage to expansion of Kakamega referral hospital to level 6 as part of the benefits the region is benefitting from the current administration”.

The infrastructure transformation will open up the region to economic development besides easing transportation of people and goods.

He said the government has injected Ksh.4.4trilion into county governments in all the 47 counties for the last 15years since devolution began.

He blasted the opposition for criticizing the government on its development agenda while other African countries were doing the same. 

We are busy blocking development of our roads, affordable housing and airports while in Egypt, Tanzania, Uganda, Angola, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, such projects are being implemented with full support of the citizens.

He called on the church leaders to preach peace and stability as the country enters the campaigning mode so that it can achieve its economic and social agendas. 

We shall be having another huge meeting with church leaders from Western to make it be clearly known that the region should not be taken for granted.

Already ODM through the broad based formation has become the biggest defender of government and is bound to benefit more from it as we here in Western are being lured to join opposition that has nothing
