Baringo branch Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) Chairman David Kibet has urged the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to confirm Junior Secondary School (JSS) teachers on permanent and pensionable terms.

Kibet warned that if the government fails to allocate the necessary funds by January 2026, teachers will paralyse learning in schools across the county.

The KUPPET chairman, who was accompanied by the branch Executive Secretary Zachariah Nyomboi Kipsaina and other branch officials, made the remarks while addressing the press in Kabarnet town.
