A botched circumcision procedure has left one person dead and eight others injured at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital(MTRH) in Eldoret, Uasin-Gishu County.
The incident occurred during a traditional circumcision ceremony where complications arose, leading to tragic death of one initiate.
The eight other individuals who sustained injuries are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
Authorities are investigating the incident to determine the cause of medical complications.
