Dehumanising: A Poor young mother of a week-old baby is currently forced to shelter inside a makeshift structure together with her Father-in-law and Mother-in-law at Moinonin in Saimo-Soi, Baringo North.
She is among thousands of displaced and abandoned bandists attack victims currently crying for humaniterian help.
The deperate incident occur one year later after authorities dissolved the victims from Moinonin Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp near Loruk and Kampi ya Samaki in Baringo North, where they had sought refuge back in 2024 believing they would receive sustainable assistance.
"We are now left alone to survive, not knowing what to do to feed our families after losing all our livestock, the only livelihood we had, to armed bandits from our neighborhood" a woman victim said on Tuesday.
Majority of the victims were currently scattered, some hosted by relatives in Chepkowel, Moinonin, Kapsebeiwa, Koroto, Chebarsiat and Kampi ya Samaki.
The hungry population is now appealing on Government, humaniterian agencies and well-wishers to urgently help them with foodstuff, shelter, clean water and drugs.
