Rogue Bees Attack Injure Children, Grazing Goats in Kabarnet
After rescuing the children, a flock of goats tied grazing around were heard screaming while some were already falling weak and helpless.

Tension as two children, among others, were on Monday rushed to hospital for treatment following bees attack at bridge estate in Kaprogonya, Kabarnet town in Baringo Central.
Several grazing goats tied on trees beside the road were also attacked and injured badly.
The 1pm bizarre incident occurred amid road renovation works connecting Cereals-Sach4 when the heavy machines vibrated, disturbing the lethal swam of bees reportedly housed in an abandoned homestead, causing unexpected 4-hour running battle.
"I was in my shop all of a sudden already charged swam of bees???? flashed out from neighbourhood and covered everywhere, they started chasing and randomly stung children who were playing outside, two of them were overwhelmed, they fell down and were rushed immediately to the nearby hospital for treatment" a resident said.
He said after rescuing the children, a flock of goats tied grazing around were heard screaming while some were already falling weak and helpless.
"I rushed to rescue my injured goats, drove them to the shed to inject some drugs faster. They got better, though the pain kept them restlessness for some time, " a farmer said.
Residents fearing for their lives were now appealing to the to the absent owner of the said abandoned house to help access and smoke out the dangerous bees.
