Prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi has warned Trans Nzoia governor George Natembeya that he risk losing his seat if he continues to insult the government.

Mudavadi who is in Malava to campaign for UDA candidate and close friend David Ndakwa made the remarks as Natembeya who is spearheading the united opposition Tawe movement in Western region continued to criticize president William Ruto’s administration as well Musalia Mudavadi and speaker Moses Wetangula and Wycliffe Oparanya for their alleged failure to unite and take the country’s leadership from William Ruto.

Mudavadi cautioned Natembeya to tread careful lest he finds himself facing a strong competitor from government side vying and eventually winning the Trans Nzoia seat. He revealed that they will field government candidates in each constituency where opposition is to send them packing come 2027.

“For those of you thinking we went to able school instead of a political one are in for a rude shock as we are the political game changers who will turn tables on them in 2027, let Natembeya and his team do mature and sober politics of body shaming the government, myself and Wetangula, we represent the Mulembe nation in the William Ruto’s government and we have agreed that it will be the time for the Western region to take up the leadership baton” he stated.

Musalia wondered why the opposition was so much interested in Malava by election and yet the seat belonged to the government.

“You have invaded the Malava political arena only to call us names and spread propaganda how bad the broad based government is and why people should reject us leaders including the president for what you term as bad leadership but you have not offered any solution or stated what you will do right that we are not doing” he noted.

He told off the opposition seeking to clinch the Malava set that Mulembe nation was looking beyond Malava by election hence should be left to hold talks with other tribes that will assist them form government come 2032.

He warned the opposition against confining the UDA team in Malava by election only as they were out to deliver the presidency to the Western region people.

He blasted Natembeya as a political toddler who has no experience whatsoever to become President nor Luhya Kingpin.

You have only been elected once as a governor and here you are feeling being on top of things lecturing us on how to run government, remember we have been in this game longer enough lost and also won, not like you who is just a political toddler” he roared.

He however told the opposition to brace for a bruising battle just five days to the by election that will see David Ndakwa being declared a winner.

It will be a big blow to you when you’ll see David Ndakwa take oath of office as the next Malava Mp as Malava deserves peace progress and steady fast leadership.

He said Ndakwa was the best choice as he reflects the good values for the constituents and is well placed to carry the aspirations of the Malava people besides steering the constituency to a stronger future.

Mudavadi urged the residents to remain united and firmly stand behind their leaders who truly put Malava first. With Ndakwa as the next Malava Mp, he will advocate for real development which will only take root where the people choose stability over division, collaboration over conflict and responsible politics against unnecessary tension.

The PCS reassured the residents that the coming by election will be conducted with the highest standards of fairness and transparency adding that robust security arrangements were already in place to safeguard the voters from any kind of fear.

“I encourage everyone to exercise and observe political tolerance respect each voter despite their party affiliations, and this safety and well-being of every voter will be fully secured.”
