Church elder arrested for defiling a 14-year-old girl in Kitengela.

Police in Kitengela, Kajiado County, are holding a church elder and a school driver accused of defiling a 14-year-old juvenile.
Thesuspect was apprehended four days after allegedly committing the offence, which was reported on Monday, April 8, 2024 and confirmed by the medical examination of the kid.
The suspect, a church elder and driver for the Glorious Group of Schools and Church in Kitengela, is accused of taking advantage of the girl after she was sent by her elder sister to wash clothing for him for a fee.

On Saturday, April 13, 2024, the suspect sought, through emissaries, to offer the destitute family Ksh100,000 in exchange for dropping the lawsuit, but the agreement fell through at the last minute.
According to her cousin, Geoffrey Ndadema, the minor, a grade 8 student at a school in Busia County, paid a visit to her older sister over the April holiday.
While criticising the event, the family stated that the girl lacked exposure and may have been persuaded by the suspect due to a common native tongue.
The youngster described what happened on that fatal day, adding that the suspect who declared his love for her was eager to marry her.
"I was watching TV at his residence after cleaning everything and washing his clothes. He then told me how much he loves me and wants to sleep with me. "He forcefully raped me and promised to marry me when I finish school," the child stated.
Isinya Sub County Police Commander Patrick Manyasi stated over the phone that the suspect will be arraigned at Kajiado Law Courts on Monday, April 15, 2024.
