A section of Kipsigis politicians have proposed appointment of Charles Cheruiyot Keter into the position of interior Cabinet Secretary.
The cabinet slot fell vacant after its holder, Prof Kidiki Kithure, was nominated to the slot of deputy president following impeachment of Rigathi Gachagua.
Paul Langat and Thomas Martim said Keter with vast civil service and political affairs matters so well to take the power interior cabinet slot after the exit of professor Kidiki.
"Having served as Belgut member of the national assembly, first Kericho county senator and energy cabinet secretary, he has got all it takes to take over as interior cabinet secretary" Langat said.
They said the soft spoken and action oriented Keter has all it takes to occupy any seat.
