Residents of Malava constituency have been urged to support the broad based government to achieve more development.

The director of the national constituency development fund (NG-CDF) Naomi Shiyonga while addressing the residents of the constituency during the public participation of the tarmacking of the Malava Samitsi Navakholo road Mama Signal as she is fondly known told the locals to support the current government as it was committed to transforming the constituency to its needed standards.

Shiyonga rubbished those crying foul of voter bribery during the Malava united democratic alliance (UDA) nominations that saw David Ndakwa being elected as the party flag bearer to battle with other contestants in the coming 27th November 2025.

She stated that those who lost in the UDA nominations should swallow their pride and support the one nominated arguing that they all vied in the same party (UDA).

She criticized those dragging names of national leaders as having swayed the votes results of the Malava UDA nominations as wrong and uncalled for and instead told them to agree with the outcome.

“It is surprising to hear some new political entrance in the Malava political arena already blaming and mudslinging some senior leaders in the government of having an upper hand in the outcome of the Malava UDA nominations, it’s the voters who decided whom should be their leaders and they made their choice, let us be free to concede and move on and stop blaming our failures to other leaders.”

She hailed the President Ruto’s administration for securing Malava after the demise of its Mp Malulu Injendi.

Shiyonga who is a dire supporter of the William Ruto’s administration blasted those lamenting about the state of affairs in the country on the purposes of painting the government as having failed telling them that the 3 years the government has been in power has transformed the country to greater heights.

We as government have been working around the clock to ensure ordinary Kenya has better services and their livelihoods are bettered and we will continue and by the time our President leaves office in 2032, Kenya will be ranked as among the top developed African countries.

She hit out at those opposing the current government to offer alternative solutions instead of poisoning the minds of Kenyans on empty promises of bringing change when they take office.

She called on the Malava residents to rally behind David Ndakwa come the 27th November 2025 when there will be a by election and vote him in as their next Mp.

It is only through government that Malava will benefit fully from the government of the day and already you can see the completion of the Malava Kenya medical training college (KMTC) and now today we are launching works on the Malava, Samitsi to Navakholo bitumen road at a tune of Ksh1.6Billion.

She said development was paramount in Malava and will only come when the residents elect the right leaders.

She drummed support for the government stating that it has cuddled Malava from the political oblivion and much empowerment has been witnessed in the constituency since the passing on of the area Mp. The leader called on the young people to take up the voter registration initiative seriously and ensure that they vote for Ndakwa in the coming by election.
