Aspiring Malava parliamentary hopeful Seth Panyako received a major boost after community leaders and elders from Tindi clan of Avatovo endorsed him to vie for the seat.

Panyako has been quiet after the passing on of area Mp Malulu Injendi where the two locked horns in 2022 election narrowly losing to the deceased with only 200 votes in a matter that ended up in courts.

“He understands what needs to be done to make Malava constituency great. We know he understands our problems, and he will present solutions to the same considering he is a go getter," an elder said.

His silence had since left many voters speculating if he was still interested in the race broke the silence bringing both joy and fear to his supporters and political nemesis in equal measures.

His foes feared he had no finances to mount a campaign after trying and lost in the last election.

The number of aspirants had already hit 42 with many new comers who felt that he was not running tossing themselves into the political arena with zeal and hopes of each emerging a winner.

His announcement to join the race has rejuvenated his supporters’ hopes and tainted those of many aspirants who have fear of him as being a main contender, volatile and experienced aspirant.

During his endorsement by his clan, elder after the other spoke on why he feels Hon Panyako is the right person for the job terming him as experienced and accomplished leader with a proven track record.

They added, the Tindi's clan endorsement of Hon Panyako's candidature shows that the people have confidence in his leadership, they know that he is the right person for the job who will unlock the constituency sleeping potential that has been elusive for the last decade.

Panyako who accepted the endorsement urged the residents of Malava to have trust in him as he was determined to transform the constituency into greatness.

Today marks a new anew chapter in my political career and it is great to still know that you have faith in me as your deliberator and as always my slogan has been Malava people first where servant leadership is key.

Panyako, who is the National Secretary General for the Kenya Union of Nurses (KNUN), has continued to directly engage with residents across the constituency, passionately outlining his bold and people-centered agenda.

As being his key agenda of transforming the constituency, Panyako has committed to prioritizing quality healthcare by upgrading local health facilities, ensuring affordable and accessible services for all.

He is also on record for championing youth and women empowerment through sustainable job creation, vocational training, and enterprise support programs.

The constituency infrastructure development remains a key pillar, with plans to improve roads, schools, water access, and market facilities across all wards.

“The people of Malava are ready and yearning for effective representation, honest leadership, and real change, and a new chapter begins with Hon Panyako at the forefront,” the elders uttered.

In 2022 Panyako came slightly second after the late Malulu Injendi in a hotly contested election losing by a paltry 200 votes placing him as the closest competitor.
