Nakuru County has embarked on a transformative week-long land verification exercise aimed at handing over titles for landowners in Manyani Trading Centre, Kivumbini Ward, Nakuru Town East Sub-County.

Led by Chief Officer for Lands and Physical Planning, Ms. Stella Mwaura, the initiative pursues to streamline the titling process by ascertaining documents and verifying survey ground control points.

This exercise, spearheaded by technical officers comprising planners and surveyors, is critical to preparing documents for submission to the Survey of Kenya.

The ultimate objective is to expedite the issuance of title deeds, a cornerstone of tenure regularization, and land ownership security.

Addressing the residents, Ms. Stella Mwaura underscored the significance of the tenure regularization process.

She urged residents to seize the opportunity presented by the Titling Program initiated by Her Excellency Governor Susan Kihika.

Beyond the prevention of possible land disputes, the exercise holds immense potential to bolster economic prospects in the area and prompt development-related projects.
