Plans underway to Open New Market in Makueni

Makueni county government today held a public participation towards construction of a modern day market at Makindu town.
County Executive Committee for Trade Dr. Sonia Nzilani said the market is targeted to improve business activities within the town and its environs.

The facility located at the town's CBD occupying a 20×60m square will benefit the locals as well as travellers and tourists along Mombasa road.
"The modern market will be able to accommodate 200 traders at a go" Sonia said.
The market also aims at attracting investors from different regions and will play major role in improving people economy as well as creating more job opportunities.
