Waiguru: There will never be a greater government than Kenya Kwanza.

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru showered admiration on President William Ruto's government.

Speaking on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, Waiguru praised Ruto's rule, claiming it was the best government Kenya has had since becoming a republic.

The Chairperson of the Council of Governors (COG) asked Kenyans to support the government's plans for a thriving nation.

"Nataka kuwaomba maneno mawili tu, ya kwanza ni kushikilia serikali ya Kenya Kwanza kule mashinani because there will never be a better government than the Kenya Kwanza government," Waiguru said

Earlier, Waiguru reiterated her full backing for the president's 10-year administration, stating that she fully endorses the president and his agenda for the nation as a whole.

 Waiguru, on the other hand, stated that women will vote for a female candidate in 2032. She then sought Ruto's supporting for a female presidential candidate in the 2032 general election.

The county head, who spoke at the inauguration of the Women Governors G7 Caucus initiative in Nairobi last week, backed women leaders' determination to steer the country in the correct direction.

The governor also indicated that women were ready to take on leadership roles and that women will run for various positions once President Ruto retired.

Furthermore, the county head emphasized that gender equality and women's empowerment were moral and economic imperatives.
