North Imenti MP Rahim Dawood wants national government to release millions of NG-CDF funds delaying implementation of projects.
He said there are about Sh25million funds that is yet to be disbursed from the national treasury.
"We urge government to release NGC-DF money because this financial years, I am yet to receive about Sh 25million. There is also about Sh8million from Kerra making it hard to repair roads in my constituency," Dawood said.
He also expressed concern of unconstructed grade 9 classes under Junior Secondary school programme.
Speaking in Meru during a public participation, Dawood said as Imenti North constituency, they have about 30 grade 9 classrooms which are yet to be constructed in various junior secondary school.
"We are late on implementation of Grade 9. My constituency alone needs about 20-30 classrooms," he said.
On the merger of the schools bursary funds, Dawood said as MPs they are against the merger of different bursary funds to ministry of education.
He said all the bursaries including those given by the county government, should be directed to the MPs as they are the ones who know the most needy or vulnerable people in the community.
Dawood said he is in full support as the Bill will address matters which the courts have been also insisting on, such as the required number of people needed for public participation to be considered as public participation.
"We want to know the requirements for a public participation. The maximum and the minimum number of people participating in public participation," he said.
