Suspend Impeachment against Governor Mutai, Elders Tell MCAs
The elders said the governor deserves pardon.

Elders from Ainamoi constituency,Saturday, told Kericho Members of County Assembly(MCAs) to suspend impeachment threat against Kericho governor Dr Eric Mutai.
The governor is expected to defend himself against all accusations levelled against him by at least 37 MCAs last Wednesday.
After appealing for forgiveness, the elders said the governor deserves pardon.
During the burial ceremony of former Kipchimchim Ward MCA the late Bernard Mutai,governor Mutai sought forgiveness from mourners, saying none was perfect.
The elders were led by Noah Koske and Jackson Soi.
The moment governor Mutai wept and went a head seeking forgiveness,MCAs who moved a motion of impeachment have no otherwise but to forgive the governor,elder Noah Koske told journalists at ACK conference Center in Kericho town.
Tears trickled down governor Mutai face as he sought forgiveness from the at least 37 MCAs.
County assembly of Kericho set Oct 2nd as the date when the governor is scheduled to defend himself at the assembly on all allegations levelled against him.
