Two dead, 10 injured in early morning road accident in Kikuyu.

Two people died and at least ten others  critically injured after a bus carrying them was engaged in a road accident in the Muguga region of Kikuyu, Kiambu County.

Kikuyu Police Commander Ronald Kirui confirmed the Saturday morning accident, saying the 62-seater bus belonging to Eldoret Express Company collided with a fuel tanker that had stalled on the road around 5.30 a.m.

The driver lost control of the bus while driving from Nakuru to Nairobi and collided with the truck from behind.

The injured were brought to several hospitals in the Kikuyu area while inquiries into the incident continued.
