June Moi, President Moi's daughter, dies.

June Chebet Moi, the daughter of late Kenyan President Daniel Arap Moi, has died.
Moi's family confirmed in a statement on Thursday that June died on Thursday morning.

"At this time of sadness, we ask for your prayers and solitude as our family deals with the tragic loss of our sister. "May her soul rest in eternal peace," the family said.

June was sixty years old. 

President William Ruto has condoled the family, saying, "My profound sympathies to the family of the late President Daniel Arap Moi on the passing of June Chebet Moi. May God give you strength throughout this trying time. Rest In Peace, June."
