Pokot elders from Tiaty, Baringo laud president Dr William Ruto for heeding Generation Zoomers' protesters plea to rearrange his cabinet to form an inclusive government.

Henry Losikiriatum from Churo Friday told Rural Times News the move will give Ruto's government National Outlook and ensure peaceful coexistence among 43 tribes across the country.

"He has also done commendable thing in his cabinet amendment to bring ODM leader Raila Odinga's staunch supporters on board, meaning going forward, no one has been left out," Losikiatum said.

They said the Nation shall now become peaceful, devoid of protests, and people will engage in their normal development activities to boost the country's economy.

Losikiriatum said pokot nation is fully behind President Ruto, saying they'll soon invite him to accompany their loved member of parliament William Kamket for a traditional blessing ceremony.

He was backed by former Naudo retired chief David Arupe, Rtd teacher Michael Kolem, Anglican Church of Kenya Rev. Canon Christopher Chochoi and Councillor Yuda Losutan.

They further took the opportunity to request President Ruto to consider appointing a representative from Baringo to his cabinet.

"We wonder why our own Simon Chelugui was locked out while some other ministers were retained, if he did a mistake, please, we are pleading for forgiveness on his behalf and we pray that he be reconsidered" Arupe said.

He said Baringo comprises five distinct communities Tugen, Pokot, Ilchamus, and Nubians and Kikuyus, "therefore deserves inclusion."

Arupe also urged President Ruto to consider Pokot representative, especially youth in his administration, even ambassadorial role, saying being a marginalized community, they haven't been recognized since Kenya attained independence in 1963.
