Kerio Valley Floods Causing Massive Destruction
Locals suffering every rainy season in flooding Kerio Valley appeal to government and well-wishers to help.

River Cheplogoi in Kerio Valley, Baringo North overflows, displacing residents and massively destroying crop farms.
Several homesteads submerged, fences and crops washed away.
"The situation worsened since Sunday.We fear for our lives if the rainy season prolongs," a resident Musa Kipkoti said.
Most affected are Kabereri, Turkuin , katanee, Kiptolelyo villages in Kapluk Sub-location, near Lake Kamnarok.
Kipkoti said the situation recurs every reason, calling on government and well-wishers to intervene.
Kenya Red-Cross officials already on the ground helping to evacuate and resettle the victims on higher grounds.
