Unidentified man found dead in sugarcane plantation in Kericho

Detectives are looking into the murder of a man whose body was discovered in Koitaburot Location, Kericho County, on a sugarcane plantation.
When the body was found on Saturday, the man did not have any identity documents, according to the police.
About 150 metres from the main route leading to the Muhoroni-Kisumu highway, police claimed, the body was discovered lying in a trench inside a sugarcane plantation property. It had bodily wounds.

The left side of the face above the ear, the back below the shoulder, and the left toes all received significant cuts.
The body was taken to Sigowet Sub County General Hospital mortuary in order to be preserved while an autopsy and identity were conducted.
