Senior Police Officer Perishes in Narok-Bomet Road Accident

The deputy base commander of Narok was killed in an accident Along the Narok-Bomet route, on Monday morning when his saloon car collided head on with an approaching lorry. 


According to a police report, Commander Calvins Ochieng Onganda was travelling from Bomet when he tried to pass a lorry and ended up colliding with an approaching one.

A section of the statement said, "As a result of the impact, both vehicles landed on the right side of the road as one faces Bomet direction."

Onganda reportedly died instantly after suffering severe wounds to his chest and legs. His remains has been sent to Longisa County Referral Hospital, awaiting an autopsy,

The mangled wreckage were taken to the Ololulunga Police Station for examination.
