Idd-ul-Fitr concludes the holy month of Ramadan, which began on March 11, 2024.
Following the prayer, Muslims greet one another with "Eid Mubarak" (Blessed Eid) and exchange gifts and food with family and friends.
One part of Eid ul Fitr is charitable giving known as zakat al Fitr, in which Muslims are obligated to give a specified amount of money or food to people in need before the Eid prayer.
This ensures that everyone enjoys the celebrations and has plenty to celebrate.
