Man passes away in Kitengela after setting a house on fire
Police in Kitengela, Kajiado County are investigating an incident involving a middle-aged man who allegedly killed himself in Chuna Estate, Kitengela, by locking himself inside his house and lighting it on fire.
The well-known man is reported to have set himself on fire in his contemporary home during the strange 6 a.m. Wednesday incident, while the domestic assistant was performing her duties. But the maid made it out of the ordeal alive.
It was said that the wife and kids were not present when the incident occurred.

When they saw the smoke pouring out of the house, horrified neighbors reacted and voiced shock at the terrible situation.
The house had already partially burned down, by the time Kitengela Fire Service arrived to put out the quickly expanding fire, It is unknown what the dead person's motivation was.
The remains have been sent to the Kitengela mortuary, While the police investigate the situation.
According to Patrick Manyasi, the commander of Isinya Sub-County, investigations have begun.
"We are conducting additional investigations, but preliminary findings suggest that it was a suicide fire," Mr. Manyasi stated.
